Remembering Carole Grant: A Life Full of Stories, Family, and Friendship

In January of 2024, we had the honor of creating a Legacy Film of Charlie's Grandma, Carole Grant. Sitting in her living room, she told us all about her life growing up in Chicago: being raised by her mom and grandmother, making friends at school, exploring Chicago, meeting her husband, raising her four kids, being an involved grandmother, and everything in between. Carole was known for having a great stories and sharing them often, and she really told us some great ones. Her interview was even interrupted by a phone call from one of her dear friends, Sister Barbara, and we were so happy we got to capture that because it speaks to who she was. She cared about her family and friends and she was always there for everyone. Carole passed away on August 30, 2026, surrounded by her family. We are so thankful we have this Legacy Film as a record of her life and to watch when we're missing her. Rest in Peace, Carole, we love you!
